WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) released the following video, in which he discusses his continued efforts to cut unnecessary government spending and highlights the Senate’s upcoming opportunity to enact legislation containing the spending reductions in President Trump’s rescissions proposal.

In May, Dr. Paul joined U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and several other senators in introducing legislation, the Spending Cuts to Expired and Unnecessary Programs Act, that contains President Trump’s proposal to cut over $15 billion in unneeded funding.
