WASHINGTON, D.C. – Recently, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), chairman of the Federal Spending Oversight and Emergency Management (FSO) Subcommittee for the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC), sat down with Sinclair Broadcast Group’s Kristine Frazao to discuss the U.S. State Department spending up to $1 million of American taxpayer money on helping support and develop the legislative process in Libya.

“It sort of boggles the mind to think that our government is going to spend money in Libya teaching them how to have good governance, good legislating. They don’t even have one government over there. They have two or three governments that are fighting each other,” Dr. Paul stated in his interview.
