WASHINGTON, D.C. – Recently, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), chairman of the Federal Spending Oversight and Emergency Management (FSO) Subcommittee for the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC), sat down with Sinclair Broadcast Group’s Kristine Frazao to discuss the National Institutes of Health (NIH) spending over $356,000 of the American people’s money to study whether or not cocaine makes Japanese quail more sexually promiscuous.  
 
“Common sense would have told us that one, cocaine is probably not good for you, and that cocaine might make you do things that you wouldn’t have done otherwise had you not been on cocaine,” Dr. Paul stated in his interview.
